Join us for an intimate dinner gathering with foundation leaders and community development partners to explore how innovative capital strategies are advancing shared ownership and wealth-building in communities across the country.
The evening will highlight the launch of the 2026 Transformative 25, an annual list curated by the Collective Action for Just Finance that recognizes funds and initiatives working to transform the financial system toward social, environmental, and economic justice. The selected funds demonstrate how capital can be deployed in ways that prioritize community outcomes—such as democratic ownership, integrated capital strategies, and non-extractive financing—alongside financial performance.
During dinner, we will spotlight several organizations advancing these ideas in practice, including:
- Dearfield Fund for Black Wealth – advancing Black homeownership and wealth building through innovative housing finance models.
- The Guild – expanding community ownership models that allow residents to participate directly in the value created in their neighborhoods.
- Reinvestment Fund – deploying data, capital, and partnerships to expand economic opportunity in underserved communities.
Together, these efforts illustrate a growing movement to shift who owns assets, who benefits from investment, and how wealth is generated and shared.
Over a shared meal, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about emerging shared ownership and community wealth-building models
- Engage with peers working at the intersection of philanthropy, finance, and economic justice
- Explore opportunities for collaboration, deploying catalytic capital, and place-based investment
We hope you will join us for an evening of conversation, connection, and reflection on how capital can help build a more inclusive and regenerative economy.
Please note, only approved guests will receive the exact location.
