Just Finance Webinar Series – Impact First Investing
Join us for a series of three webinars in which we will examine how the T25 criteria illuminate funds that not only are principles-based but also use evidence and lived experience to serve their communities. Each webinar will include moderators to animate a discussion about impact first investments in a thematic area as well as actions to take to move your thinking and portfolio forward. Please join us for this thoughtful, enjoyable series!
Learn from T25 fund managers from around the world (United States, Mexico and Senegal) on how they address climate change across their portfolios supporting entrepreneurs, ranchers and farmers, Indigenous Peoples and community organizations. Lora Smith, Justice Funders, will guide a discussion with fund leaders featuring:
- James Pippim, Afterglow Climate Justice Fund
- Abdourahmane Diop, Haskè Ventures
- Cecilio Solis Librado, CIELO – Federación Indígena Empresarial y Comunidades Locales de México, A.C.
- Dawn E. LeBeau, Akiptan
After the 55-minute panel, we will have Dan Chu, Sierra Club Foundation guest commentator, share their reflections on the key takeaways and we will then have an opportunity to discuss in small groups the topics of the day.
Recordings of the presentation portion will be provided to all registrants.
