Aisha T. Weeks is the Managing Director of The Dearfield Fund, a $20MM private equity fund accelerating homeownership and creating pathways to generational wealth and economic mobility in the Denver Metro area.
Her leadership spans 18 years in the public sector, finance, and community development fields. In her previous role at the City of Cleveland, Aisha developed economic development initiatives targeting local investments upwards of $20B. Prior to her work in community development, Aisha worked at a wall street firm as a top consumer and commercial lender where she first developed a passion for serving unbanked communities and providing capital to underserved communities. Aisha has launched several broad based coalitions to tackle racial inequities and dismantle barriers to financial inclusion.
Aisha enjoys volunteering, recent civic engagements include various nonprofit boards, real estate finance loan committees, and philanthropic grant review committees.
Beyond her 9-to-5p, Aisha serves as an inaugural board member for the Economic Development Association for Black Communities in Denver. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Urban Studies guiding in-depth rigorous discussions on critical issues around equity planning, including creating equitable frameworks to evaluate outcomes.
